COVID-19 stay home guide with Qi Men Dun Jia

COVID-19 stay home guide with Qi Men Dun Jia

On 11th Mar 2020, WHO officially declare that COVID-19 is a global pandemic. Since then, there is daily doubled cases being reported and also high fatality rate. Governments around the world start to initiate city or country lock down by following what's Wuhan, China has did.

As part of the lock down, most of the Government recommend all citizens to stay at home to practice social distancing. Most of you will agreed that staying at home all the time could be stressful for some as we are confining all family members together for a long period of time. There bound to be problem and conflict. As such, the guide below is for those who need to stay home due to COVID-19 and would like to tap the power of Qi Men Dun Jia.

Firstly, you need to know how to plot a Qi Men Dun Jia chart. Don't freak out as you can do it on my website at: http://www.fengshui-hacks.com/ click on "Plot Chart" at the top hand corner. Make sure the date and time is the same as your local time. For example, if you are in UK, when you click on "Plot Chart", the Year, Month, Day and Hour is the same as CURRENT time of where you are (e.g. UK).

Secondly, you need to know when to plot the Qi Men Dun Jia chart. I am using Qi Men Dun Jia Hour method, so there are different chart every 2 hours. One day, there are minimum 12 charts (sometimes more due to season transition). So, here are the guidelines to plot chart:

1. If you work from home and you are working 8 hours a day and let's say you want to start your work at 9am. Therefore, you plot 9am chart.
2. If there are 2 distinct activities, then you plot 2 charts at different time. For example, you work half day at home from 9 - 12pm and then rest from 1 - 5pm, you plot 2 charts: one for 9am and another for 1pm. (i.e. the time you want to start your activities)
3. If you are sick and would like to tap into Qi Men Dun Jia for health, you use your birth date and time to plot the Qi Men Dun Jia chart. Alternatively, you can use the example as in 2, plot the chart when you want to rest.

Now, here come the tricky part. You need to be at specific location at specific time to tap into the power of Qi Men Dun Jia. This is also known as 天时, 地利, 人和 or Heaven, Earth and Man. Heaven is the chart that you plotted, Earth is the location and Man is you yourself.

For this, let's use an example. Here is the chart for 22nd Mar 2020 9am:

So, I want to work from home and I don't want to stay in a single place and I want to tap into the Qi Men Dun Jia Qi. Therefore, based on the chart plotted, career or work is represented by 开门 (Kāi Mén) at Dui 7 Palace. Dui 7 Palace is at the West, therefore, you need to work at the West sector of your house or room and face West direction to tap the Qi Men Dun Jia Qi.

For those who have no idea on the direction and location, here are the list for your reference:
From the top of the chart:

Qi Men Dun Jia Chart Palace
 Direction/Location
 離 9
 South
 巽 4 Xùn
 South East
 震 3 Zhèn
 East
 艮 8 Gèn
 North East
 坎 1 Kǎn
 North
 乾 6 Qián
 North West
 兌 7 Duì
 West
 坤 2 Kūn
 South West

Now, for health, you need to use 生门 (Shēng Mén), look at the chart and find where 生门 (Shēng Mén)  is. Go to that sector and spend time meditation or rest there. In addition, for resting, you can also use 休门 (Xiū Mén) sector/direction. You can also use 休门 (Xiū Mén) for location where your family member gathers to play game or watch movie together.

Like I mentioned in item 3 above, for health, it is best to tap into your bazi Qi Men Dun Jia chart. So, you use your birth date and time and plot the Qi Men Dun Jia chart. Find where 生门 (Shēng Mén)  is and spend more time at that sector and facing that direction.

Here are the summary of items you can use in Qi Men Dun Jia. Please note that there are more to Qi Men Dun Jia but for stay home purposes, this is enough:

 Qi Men Dun Jia Item
 Purpose
  生门 (Shēng Mén)
 For health and general wellbeing
 开门 (Kāi Mén)
 For career/work/job
 休门 (Xiū Mén)
 For relaxation and enjoyment
 六合 (Liù Hé)
 For relationship
 天辅 (Tiān Fǔ)
 For study

Good luck and all the best in tapping into Qi Men Dun Jia Qi.

Thanks

  1. Hi Master Calvin...
If we were to meditate and tap the Qi, our back need to face the palace direction right? And is it also the same that we need to face our back to the Palace direction when working at that Kai Men palace? Thank you...

    4. qimendunjia is quite different from other fengshui method.. in qimen facing is more important. Some masters say the back toward palace direction the effect is totally opposite. Since most auspicious palace has inauspicious star opposite... You will get into more trouble using wrong direction. There are infact many unskillful qimen practitioner out there..

  2. Just to remind you, this is my blog. You should be asking JY instead of asking me. I don't represent JY, whichever JY you are referring to.

  7. Usage is about the same as normal divination but with some slight difference from wat i saw in master ye bazi book. Do you have your own unique way of reading qimendunjia bazi?

  8. yeah of cos. in 1 of your book you mentioned qimendun jia bazi do not hav 大运 or 10 year luck cycle. you sure about it?

  9. if there is no 大运 it seems will miss alot of info. In that case even bazi and ziweidoushu will be more informative than qimendunjia bazi.

    1. There are other info that can be read using QMDJ Bazi but you don't get using Ziping or ZWDS. Don't have Luck Pillar is not a problem as there is yearly 60 JiaZi to read.

    2. It is as good as just using 流年. 60 jiazi is only 60 different variation. Dont you think still abit insufficient when come to life reading?

    3. Nope. There are alot of stuff to read using QMDJ Bazi alone.

  10. a person life time is not only restricted to 60 jiazi variation. after 60 jiazi year, the 天干地支will repeat itself. do u think he is going to repeat all his previous fate.. obviously no..

    1. Like I said, it is not only restricted to 60 Jiazi variation. There are still other things to read. Keep your mind open, don't restrict yourself. Just because no luck cycle, it doesn't mean other things cannot read.

Even for Ziping bazi, there is masters only read annual pillar vs the person. So, not necessary reading JiaZi year only is not good enough.

  11. ziping bazi major 3 parts are the 4 pillars, 大运, 流年. Its all about balancing the element, any other theory are not neccessarily legit.

    1. Legit or not is only your perspective, unless you are Xu Ziping..:-). Like I said, don't restrict yourself in learning. Keep an open mind. There are many more techniques out there.

  12. As for qimendunjia the "other thing" you mean is already considered 大运, in certain way i assume. Just not the same as the 大运 from bazi and ziwei.

Or else theres no way to understand how a person advance through different part of his life.

    1. Again, this is only your perspective. For my QMDJ Bazi course, it took 2-days to cover. So, there are more to simply, the "other thing".

      Delete
  13. regarding your qimen bazi course is how many lesson and how many hours?

    1. In face to face class, it took 2 days to cover all. Now it is distance learning, so it is own time own target. You can checkout the topic at my website: https://www.fengshui-hacks.com/

However, the pre-requisite for QMDJ bazi is to attend the QMDJ day-to-day application. This is becuase the style and technique we used is different from other masters. So, you have to start from ground zero.
