Depositing money into your own bank account - Fengshui or myth?

Depositing money into your own bank account during Li Chun- Fengshui or myth?

Every year, it was suggested that we should deposit our own money into our own bank account during Li Chun to enjoy a prosperous start of the year. For the past few years, I have seen long queues at the banks where people try to withdraw money and then try to deposit it again at the so-called "auspicious" hour at the bank branch.

This year,  Li Chun starts on 4th Feb 2018 at 05:28am and it happens to be on Sunday. Other masters even published timings for people born with different animal signs to deposit the money at that specific timing.

For the past few years, I have received numerous questions with regards to this "practice", and this year, I decided to pen down my answer so as to save myself from repeating it again and again.

For a Qi Men Dun Jia practitioner, I strongly DO NOT advocate such practice as it is more like a myth rather than a Fengshui practice.

In Fengshui practice, for it to work, there is a need for the following 3 elements to match:  Heaven, Earth and Man (天时地利人和). So, to enjoy prosperity for a particular person, the person's Heaven, Earth and Man aspect must be good and matching. In layman terms, it means the Person (Man) has to act at the Right Place (Earth) and at the Right Time (Heaven).

Person (Man aspect - 人和) is derived from the person's birth date and time where a "bazi" chart is derived. Please note that in Qi Men Dun Jia perspective, a bazi chart is different even if you and another person were born on the same year, month and day (i.e. born on different hour).

Right Place (Earth aspect - 地利) is again derived from the person's bazi chart. The bazi chart will indicate the wealth sector (since this topic is about money) of the person. Thus, you cannot go to any bank to activate or increase prosperity as it has to depend on where your wealth sector is (which is derived from your birth date and time).

Right Time (Heaven aspect - 天时) is the specific timing that you activate the action, and in this case, it is to deposit money. So, assuming that you managed to find out the Man, Earth and Heaven aspect correctly, that will mean that you have to deposit your money at a specific location and at a specific time. However, you don't own the bank (if you do, then you no need to do this..), thus, you can't dictate the specific time that you want to deposit the money.

Why does a small percentage of people claim that it works? This is because this group of people happen to get the Heaven, Earth and Man (天时地利人和) correct, but a vast majority of the people do not.

In my honest opinion, the time spent queuing to draw money and then queuing to deposit money doesn't really make sense as it is entirely not within our control. In addition, it actually brings stress to the banking system and it is also an unnecessary nuisance to the public.

Last but not least, for Qi Men Dun Jia practitioner, we can use Qi Men Dun Jia divination tools to provide information that enables us to make specific decision anytime we want, or we can use Qi Men Dun Jia Bazi to provide information on where the best wealth sector and direction is. Also, we can use Qi Men Dun Jia Date Selection to choose a good date and time for a specific outcome for specific event. There are so many options to choose from for specific results throughout the year; so what is the point of only depositing money on a single day and hope that it will give you prosperity you throughout the year?

Thanks
